Native Organic’s History,

Native Organics is based on the Pine Ridge Indian Reservation, founded by members of the Oglala Lakota Sioux Tribe. Native Organics was created to enhance economic opportunities and provide stability to Oglala Lakota Sioux people through private enterprise and new business opportunities.

Native Organics partners with ranchers across all five million acres of Lakota Country to bring the highest quality beef to market.  Unlike most available organic beef in the country, Native Organics’ cattle is raised roaming freely on pristine pastures in Lakota Country. Because of the superiority of Angus genetics, the quality, consistency and marbling of our beef delivers tenderness and a unique flavor profile.

WHY ORGANICS

Unlike conventional beef Organic Grass Fed and All Natural Grass Fed finished meats have other nutritional benefits beyond being higher in healthy fats.

TRIBAL CULTURE

The history of the Lakota Nation can’t be told without mentioning their connection to the land and bounty that fed, clothed and housed them. As hunter/gatherers, the Lakota followed the immense herds of buffalo across their territory, making their clothing and lodges from the hide, tools and utensils from the bones, and other useful items from various parts of this great beast. The diet was simple: meat, vegetables, fruit and tubers, in combinations that provided all the nutrients needed for a people who were hard working and ambitious.

The Lakota and the buffalo no longer have the freedom they once had, consequently, turning to organic and natural grass fed beef is a logical choice for today’s health conscious population. In addition to having nutritional and health benefits, organic and natural grass fed beef is as close to tradition as possible.

As a nation, the Lakota take pride in the stewardship of their land and the living beings on it. This same pride and care go into every product Native Organics offers.
